ABOUT THE TRAINER
Holly Stephens
I'm Holly, and my journey with animals began at 17. With a background spanning domestic to exotic animals, I cultivated my passion in Los Angeles—working at a local pet store, volunteering at the Long Beach Aquarium, and the LA Zoo.
After relocating to San Diego for my Psychology degree at San Diego State University, I immersed myself in kennel environments, grooming, daycare, and caring for cats and dogs. At Birch Aquarium, I spent a summer as a camp intern educating children about ocean life. I also volunteered at The San Diego Humane Society in Pet Therapy and proudly served in Seaworld San Diego's Animal Care Department.
Since earning my Dog Training Certification from Animal Behavior College in 2013, I've continued to expand my expertise. I completed additional courses in Pet Sitting, Dog Walking, Feline Management, and Private Lessons. I'm a Canine Good Citizen (CGC) evaluator with the AKC, a professional member of APDT, and hold an Elite Fear Free Certification. As a Mentor Trainer for Animal Behavior College and CATCH Canine Trainers Academy, I recently earned a Cat Training Certification.
At home in Wildomar, I cherish life with my Golden Retrievers, Mia and Raya, and my cat, Lilo—they constantly challenge and inspire me. My lifelong passion for animal behavior fuels my commitment to learning and teaching. I'm thrilled to help you strengthen your bond with your best friend.
